Terra-cotta windswept ocean

Terra-cotta windswept ocean
Spanish breeze. Foreign babbling land,
You feel bad for your Walmart purchase,
But it winds down into wine and
New friends and fluorescent
Tingling Laughter.

Alleyway meets with
Straw-dust Love,
That broken goodbye you’ll
Never meet again.

Sailors court her and she blushes
For tips. Her heart is a chamber full of
Gloom, the broken Groom.

Nothing touches.

An ocean curls around us,
Won in cinders and flames lit
Darkly around contrast and
Scented bloodied ribbons.
