One o'clock and I want to destroy

One o’clock and I want to destroy
This life with short skirts and shots
Fired down the edge of coughing smoking
Throats winnowing t’wards arrowed bliss–
Liquid BLISS and terra-cotta warmth–
Rain-shine withers snapping rhythms
Eased in cymbals weaving smashing with
Laughing grappling–
Eating grapes swollen with mouth-mash ripping nippling rainbows.
A Larynx jangle pattering songs in tangent
Grooves….

Living in symbols, we wait for the magic words…
A flash train trambled scrambled from rain,
we wake middled of confused,
fused in murk and sky smashing sound…

Around the corner, cheap skeezy strip club,
bass thrumming warmth with ribbons unravelled ‘round silk,
sheared pebble skin tangled swirling pole ‘round casual devoted eyes.

We waited in the wings…
We streaked in shadows.
Tumble-dried love whining for escape and static
sparking grinning lip-whipped smacks.
